Squamish Farmers' Market
Good evening Market Subscribers!
Yes, the weather may currently be looking a little wet and dreary after a beautiful week, but on the "bright" side, this is just what we need to ensure delicious, juicy veggie and fruit crops this summer! Mother Nature must also have the market's best interest at heart as well, because by tomorrow the weather is predicted to clear up and warm up to 22 degrees! What better way to officially welcome in summer (we can consider the first day of June the official start day can't we? Or am I getting ahead of myself here??) than with a visit to the Squamish Farmers Market!
And this won't just be any visit, because our way of celebrating "Bike to Work and School Week" is that all who bike here get to enter for FREE a raffle for great market prizes!!! A "bike to work week" -themed children's craft will also be hosted by our new market assistant, so don't miss out on that (yes, I suppose adults can participate as well) Not only that, but from 11am-12pm, we will be honoured with a presentation by Craftwilder Kombucha, on how to make your OWN KOMBUCHA!!! Following will be a performance by none other than the great Cam Salay, our musician of the week.
And of course, we will have plenty of what truly makes our market so special, our wonderful vendors. Why not get some snacks from our new vendors of the week - Hip Pies and Bug Hungry. If that doesn't fill you up, pick up a delicious, comforting soup from Ela Made Me Do It, and the hummus from BobAli Foods can go with veggies and crackers for the perfect appetizer for your Satuday evening house guests!
It's going to be a fabulous and fun day, and we can't wait to see all of our wonderful market go-ers!
I hope you are all as excited for tomorrow as I am! See you there, from 10am-3pm!
